Upcoming key dates

Although we are heading into the AFL Grand Final week, the Seddon Cricket Club are also full steam ahead with the cricket season fast approaching. 

Below are some key dates to put into your calendar:

Tuesday 25 September - Training
Training between 5.30pm-7pm.

Thursday 27 September - Training & rooms open!
Training between 5.30pm-7pm. We also officially take over the club rooms as the summer tenant, therefore the bar will be open and the rooms will be fully functional.

Tuesday 2 October - Training
Training between 5.30pm-7.30pm. With the first match on Saturday 6 October and daylight savings kicking in, there will be sufficient light for full nets training.

Thursday 4 October - Training & Selection/Pie Night
Training between 5.30pm-7.30pm. Also first selection and Pie night.

Saturday 6 October - 94th birthday party
Along with our first match of the cricket season, it is also our 94th birthday party at the club rooms that evening. This event will be an annual event as we count down to 100 years as a cricket club in six years (2024). It promises to be a fun night to fire up the start of the season, so I urge you to come along and support this event. It's a fundraiser with a live entertainer, fully stocked bar and an abundance of finger food. Entry is strictly by way of prior payment and confirmation for catering and ease of running the event on the night.

Saturday 3 November - Derby Night
Derby Night event at the club rooms starting from 7.30pm. More information to follow.
