President's Update - November 2021

Hi all,
Hope you are well.

With training tonight and the cricket season commencing next weekend, please see below Club update.

Clubrooms
As per DHS guidelines, Council has recently advised that those who are fully vaccinated can now access the clubrooms with a one person square metre density limit. With that in mind, the clubrooms will be open this evening.

T20 match this Saturday
As part of the VTCA's T20 Round Robin matches, we are scheduled to play Yarraville Club this Saturday at Hansen Reserve, West Footscray. Play commences at 11am.

Social events - November & December
The Club is planning to hold the following social events before Christmas:

• Welcome Back - Saturday 20 November 
• Christmas Party - Saturday 18 December.

More details to follow next week, however please set aside these events in your diary. They're sure to be great nights!

Slate removal
As a reminder from recent updates, the Club has made the decision to discontinue the "slate" and will now only accept payment for bar purchases, match fees and yearly subscriptions via EFT or cash payment. 

Recruiting of players
If you know of anyone who would like to play cricket this season (senior and junior grades), please let them know we are looking for players and/or bring them down to training. New players can also contact me for further information on the club. 

Subscriptions and match fees
Yearly subscriptions are now open! Subscriptions remain at $150 this season, as do match fees at $20 per match.
