Seddon have announced Josh Beaumont as Club Coach for the 2018/19 season. Josh had a successful first season at Seddon, leading the 2nd XI to the semi finals and winning the Club’s supreme accolade, The Tom Kriebardis Award.
Josh has expressed his excitement about stepping into the role. "I’m really looking forward to taking on the role as coach this season. This is an exciting opportunity in a club that had some great success last year with both the 1st and 2nd XI’s making the finals after coming up into Senior Division and the 4th XI narrowly losing the grand final. I feel I have a lot to contribute in a broader leadership position and I’m looking forward to the challenge" Josh said. The Seddon Cricket Club Club Committee have been impressed with Josh’s natural leadership ability and his popularity among Club members. Club President, Leigh Davies anticipates another successful season with Josh at the helm. “The Club is very excited about Josh’s appointment as Coach. In his short time at the club Josh's maturity and leadership has shone through, therefore we believe Josh will be an excellent addition to the existing coaching group. Josh has proven leadership qualities that he demonstrated last season, leading the 2nd XI to the semi-finals” Leigh said. Josh takes over the coaching reigns from Ben Speake who is staying on with Seddon as a player.
