Seddon 2nd XI Captain, Hernie Isorena has made his international debut for the Phillipines. Playing in an ICC T20 World Cup qualifier against Oman, Hernie batted at 5, making 6 runs from 14 balls including a boundary. Unfortunately the Phillipines side were bowled out for 36 and Oman made short work of the total, winning by 9 wickets.
Playing international cricket for the Phillipines is a goal that Hernie has been working towards and the Seddon Cricket Club congratulate him on his achievement. The Phillipines side have one match remaining in Oman, playing Bahrain today at 5.00pm AEDT. The side is yet to be named.
