The next event on the Seddon CC social calendar is the eagerly anticipated Melbourne Cup Auction on Saturday 4 November.

This event has been revamped - previously the annual Derby Night function - to be more fun and action packed and is one of our major fundraising events for the year. 

There will be a selection of cocktails made by an experienced cocktail barman (think Tom Cruise in the movie Cocktail) and pizza slices for dinner on sale throughout the evening. It is recommended that you wear op-shop race wear to get into the spirit of the evening.

As this event is the place to be seen after the Derby Day Flemington races, please feel free to extend the invite (i.e. forward this email) and bring along family, friends, punters and anyone else you know who likes a punt and a good time!

Raffle books/tickets

• Raffle books can be purchased for $240 (24 tickets/horses per book x $10 per ticket) or tickets are available for $10 each. You can purchase as many tickets as you like. Each raffle book is numbered with the book number and tickets numbered 1-24. These tickets represent the horse number in the Melbourne Cup. (Note: There are 24 horses in the Melbourne Cup field).
  
• Each $10 ticket includes entry to the event and returns a dividend from the Melbourne Cup Auction of the horse number on your ticket.
  
• $100 worth of food & drinks for every raffle book sold by the syndicate organiser.
  
• 50% of tickets/raffle books sold will be added to the Melbourne Cup Auction prize pool.

have become the premier one stop shop for all those people who are renovating
or building and are looking for any door or door furniture.

​The team offer installation services, which will take all the hastle out of hanging
the door as we are all aware that door frames are not always square and an off
the shelf door will require adjustment at the time of installation.
